KUOPION POLIISIN UUSI APUVÄLINE 

Tänään 1.4. Kuopion Poliisi on ilmoittanut uudesta mekaanisesta apuvälineestä, jonka tarkoitus on puhua poliisien puolesta poliisin pysäyttämille ihmisille koronavirus-tartunnan estämiseksi. Poliisi syöttää tietokoneelle puhetta, jonka laite kääntää puheeksi. Laite kytketään tietojemme mukaan poliisiauton etuosaan. Kuopion Poliisit olivat 25.3.-30.3. koulutuksessa, jossa heidät opetettiin kirjoittamaan sopivalla tavalla. Jos tämä kokeilu tulee onnistumaan, Poliisi on ilmoittanut ottavansa myös kokeiluun automaattisen sakkolappujärjestelmän, joka sakottaa kaduilla lakia rikkovia kansalaisia. 

NEW TOOL TO KUOPIO’S POLICE 

Today, 1.4, Kuopio’s police has informed about a new mechanical tool, which is meant to talk to people who get stopped by the police to prevent any coronavirus infections. The police input words to a computer, that the tool translates to words. Our information says that it will be implanted on the front of the car. The Police of Kuopio were in a training session between 25.3.-30.3. where they were trained to write in a appropriate way. If this experiment will succeed, the police have announced that they will test a automatic ticketsystem, that will give tickets to citicens who commit crimes.

Pelleparaati 2020 

Tänään 1.4.2020 on aprillipäivä, joten jotkut ihmiset tulevat tietysti juhlistamaan sitä. Kuopion kaupungille on tiedotettu, että tänään on vuotuinen pelleparaati klo 16.00-18.00 paikallista aikaa. Paraatissa tulemme näkemään kuuluisia pellejä, esim. Pelle Miljoona, Pelle Hermanni ja Pelle Positiivi. Klovneja kyseiseen paraatiin ei päästetä, sillä he eivät Pelle Miljoonan sanoin ole “himassa”. Tästä vihastuneena Hassu-klovni eilen twiittasi Twitter-tilillään vihaavansa pellejä. Monet sivulliset ovat hyvin huolissaan siitä, että paraatin aikana voi tulla tappelu. 

Buffoon parade 2020 

Today 1.4.2020 is the April Fools’ Day, so of course some people are going to celebrate it. The city of Kuopio has been informed, that an annual buffoon parade is going to take place from 16.00-18.00 local time. We are going to see many famous buffoons in the parade, for example Pelle Miljoona, Pelle Hermanni and Pelle Positiivi. Clowns are not be going to be welcome to the parade, because they are not by Pelle Miljoona’s words “home”. Angered by the fact that Pelle Miljoona said this, Hassu-Klovni tweeted on his Twitter-account that he hates buffoons. Many bystanders are worried, that a fight might break out during the parade. 

Pyörö into a prison camp!  

Petonen to be made in to a jail camp. Due to high rise in unruly behaviour of teens going to the store to buy food and drink during school hours the government officials have stated that Petonen will be made into a juvenile and adult prison camp. The buildings will be demolished and in their stead will be built a massive compound where scientists and researchers will try to figure out the cause of the phenomenon of youngsters going out to buy food and drink when they obviously have food at home just like their mothers tell them everytime they want to stop at McDonald’s. The news of some peoples favorite school being shut down to be turned into what is esentially a mass incarceration plot by the government. The prison camp for unruly teens has been deemed a good placement of assets and a budget of 5 billion euros has been set.  Some approve of this strategy for the finnish government to make money and have petitioned to add such establishments into other cities of finland. Such as Tampere and Helsinki it self. As we all know the phenomenon of teens leaving school grounds to buy food and drink to fill their bellies is a HUGE issue and crime that we should pour our assets into to make sure it never happens again becaouse the kids have food at home.  

   

 Petosesta vankileiri  

Petosesta aiotaan tehdä vankileiri. Korkean nousun teinien huonossa käytöksessä ja kauppaan menossa kesken kouluaikojen kauppaan menemisen ja ruuan ja juomien ostamisen takia valtio on päättänyt tehdä petosesta vankileirin aikuisille ja nuorille. Petosen rakennukset tuhotaan ja niiden tilalle rakennetaan massiivinen vankileiri missä tutkijat yrittävä selvittää nuorten halun mennä ostamaan kaupasta juomaa ja ruokaa vaikka heillä selvästikin on ruokaa kotona.  

School’s after school activities  

Pyörö school will in the future have after school activities such as a video games club and a club which rules include never to talk of the club. There has been some speculation as to what this secretive club may be, some say it is the illuminati while others claim it is a simple easter egg and a joke only understood by those who have watched the film the easter egg is about. We however will not give comment in to our speculations since it is none of our business even if we are the press. Some wonder if after school activities are even a good idea since it may add to the uneasiness of the school by adding further competition to be the best in the clubs since there will apparently also be rewards for doing so.  

Näkkileivän kato - ruisleipä takaisin?

  

Helmikuussa oppilailta vietiin ruisleipä kouluruoasta. Päätöstä perusteltiin sillä, että näkkileivästä saisi samat ravintoaineet. Toissapäivänä tuli kuitenkin uusi tieto, jonka mukaan näkkileipäkin lähtee pois koronaviruspandemian takia. Yritys, jolta koulu hankkii leivät, ei pysty näissä olosuhteissa toimittamaan leipää mihinkään Kuopion kouluista. Herää siis kysymys: Saako leipää nyt ollenkaan? Leivästä saa hyvin kivennäisaineita ja kuitua, ja sillä voidaan myös korvata rasvaisia osia ateriasta. Leipä kuuluu jokaiseen ateriaan. Tilanne on saanut monet miettivät toiveikkaana, josko ruisleivän saisi takaisin.  

  The lack of crisp bread – rye bread’s return?  

In February, the beloved rye bread was taken away from the students. The decision was explained by the fact that crisp bread would give the same nutrients. But, two days ago, we got some new info. The crisp bread is going away too! The crisp bread provider to Kuopio’s schools isn’t able to deliver to any of Kuopio’s schools because of the coronavirus pandemic. So, a question arises: Can we now get any bread at all? Bread has a lot of minerals and fibre, and it can also replace greasier parts of the meal. Bread is an essential part of any meal. The situation has got many people wondering if the rye bread could make a return.  

  

Kevätlukukauden pidentäminen kesäkuulle on todennäköistä, kertoo kaupunginvaltuusto  

Kuopion kaupunginvaltuusto on kertonut suunnitelmista koskien koronavirusta ja perusopetusta. Eilen pidetyssä valtuuston kokouksessa käsiteltiin perusopetukseen ja toisen asteen opintoihin liittyviä asioita. Kevätlukukauden pidentäminen oli idea, joka sai paljon kannatusta. Oppilaat eivät luultavasti pääse vielä toukokuussakaan takaisin lähiopetukseen, joten lukukautta voitaisiin pidentää kesäkuuhun, että arviointi helpottuisi. Oppilaille suunniteltiin koeviikkoa kesäkuun toiselle viikolle, jolla testattaisiin etäopiskelun aikaisten asioiden osaamista. Tätä ideaa on kuitenkin kritisoitu valtavan stressin takia, jota se aiheuttaisi oppilaille, etenkin 9-luokkalaisille. 

  

The elongation of the spring semester into June is likely, says the city council  

The Kuopio city council has told about the plans for basic education and the coronavirus. In yesterday’s session, the council addressed things related to basic education and upper secondary education. The elongation of the spring semester was an idea that got a lot of support. It is likely that the students won’t return to classroom teaching in May. The semester could be extended to June, so that the evaluation would be much easier, and an exam week was planned for the second week of June. The exams would test the know-how of things learned in home learning. However, the idea of the exam week has been criticized for the enormous amount of stress it would cause to students, especially 9th-graders.  

Finland doesn´t give homework 

Finnish schools don’t give any homework to their students. This policy is in place also in Pyörö school.  

“Homework is a dated and cruel form of punishment. Nobody likes to do work at home,” says Antti Mikkonen, the vice principal of Pyörö school.  

Finland has done well in PISA stud. Experts in the finnish department of education say getting rid of homework is the key to Finland’s succes. “Here, the law actually bans homework in primary and middle school”, says Pentti Korhonen from from the department of education.  

Hiihtoladuton hiihtoloma

Kuopion alueen hiihtoladut ovat olleet maaliskuun alusta lähtien käyttökelvottomia. Lähes kaikki ladut ovat suurimmaksi osaksi sohjoa ja hiekkaa. Kevättalvella ei koskaan aiemmin ole ollut näin lämmin sää.  

Kaupungin asukkaat ovat raivoissaan, sillä edes hiihtolomalla ei päässyt laduille. Moni oli odottanut innoissaan töiden ja koulun taukoa, jotta pääsisi lumen keskelle, mutta kaikki joutuivat pettymään pahasti. Paikoittain maa oli jopa lähes sulaa, eikä luontoon päässyt edes kävelemään kosteuden takia.  

“Mitä järkeä on pitää hiihtoloma, jos ei pääse hiihtämään? Sehän on jo nimessäkin!” sanoi eräs anonyymina pysyttelevä kansalainen. Moni muukin ajattelee loman olevan täysin turha ilman hiihtämistä.  

Luonnollisesti syypään ajatellaan olevan Kuopion kaupungin latujen kunnossapitäjien syytä. Ihmiset ovat kokoontuneet pienissä ryhmissä kaupungintalon eteen ja huutaneet hiihdotonta hiihtolomaa vastaan. Eniten vihaa tuntuu saavan latujen kunnostuksen työnjohtaja.  

“En minä mitään luontoäidin päätöksille mahda. Jättäkää minut rauhaan!” hän kommentoi ärtyneesti sen jälkeen, kun mielenosoittajat alkoivat mellakoimaan hänen kotitalonsakin edessä.  Hän selvästikin valehtelee, kun väittää näin. Tämän päivän tekniikalla saisi helposti kaikki ladut kuntoon käden käänteessä. Mielenosoittajat uskovat, että hän ei kunnosta latuja, koska Kuopio on korviaan myöten veloissa jo ennestäänkin. Kukaan päättäjistä ei kuitenkaan kommentoi mitään tähän aiheeseen liittyvää.  

Mielenosoittajat ovat varmoja, että saavat hiihtoladut takaisin kuntoon, jos he jatkavat mellakointia. Lähde siis sinäkin mukaan, ja pian meillä tulee taas olemaan kauniit, valkoiset ja hyväkuntoiset hiihtoladut.

 Winter vacation with no ski trails 

Kuopio´s ski trails have been in a nonworking condition since the beginning of March. Almost every single ski trail is mainly just slush and sand. The late winter has never been so warm before.  

The residents of Kuopio are furious because they didn´t get to go skiing during the winter vacation. A lot of people had been waiting for the break so they would get to go in the middle of all the snow but everyone had to be disappointed. The land had almost melted in places and you weren´t even able to walk in the nature because of all the moisture.  

“There is no sense to have a winter holiday if you don´t get to go skiing!” said an anonymous resident. And he isn´t the only one who thinks that way; a lot of other people have been agreeing with him. 

Naturally people think that the guilty one is Kuopio´s ski trails maintenance. They have been gathering in small groups in front of the city hall and shouting against the ski trailless winter holiday. The foreman of the ski trail´s maintenance in Kuopio seems to get the most hate.  

“There is nothing I can do against the decisions of Mother Nature. Leave me me alone!” commented the irritated foreman after the protesters started to riot in front of his house too.  

It´s obvious that he is lying when he states that. It would be easy to fix up Kuopio´s ski trails very fast with today´s  technology. The protestors think that he isn´t fixing up the ski trail because Kuopio is already in so much debt. Not a single decision-maker is commenting anything about this topic.  

The protestors are certain that they will get the ski trails back to the good condition if they keep rioting. You should join too and then we will have beautiful, white and healthy ski trails.
