Here are a few reasons why winter is the best time of
the year.
SNOW
Feeling and hearing first snow under your feet is one
of the best feelings ever. You can also build a snowman or a snow castle. In
winter the sun sets early, so snow lights up the dark evenings when all the
streets are grey. You also need snow to ski or skate. Everyone wants to have
snow in Christmas!
WINTER CLOTHES
Shopping winter clothes and wearing them feels nice.
You can start wearing your warm sweaters, hoodies, hats, mittens and wool
socks.
CHRISTMAS
At Christmas it’s nice to spend time
with your family and friends. It’s a holiday that many people are looking
forward to the whole year. Christmas is the time of warm drinks, great food and
family gatherings. Getting Christmas presents is lovely, but giving presents to
others is more rewarding. It makes you happy to make someone else’s day.
NEW YEAR’S EVE
The starting of a new year means that you can try making a New Year’s resolution. People wait for the parties and that they can watch beautiful fireworks.
